About Me
I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist (pronouns: she/her). I gained my Diploma in Counselling from the Minster Centre in 2011 and my MA in Integrative Psychotherapy in 2015. I am a fully accredited member of the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) and a registered member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and am DBS checked. As well as my private counselling experience I worked for Lawrence Way Community Counselling Service providing short term counselling through NHS GP referrals in Cambridge between 2010 and 2019. I also have the NHS NICE recognised Certificate in Counselling for Depression and a Certificate in Couples Counselling. I completed my initial EMDR training in 2020 and am currently working towards my EMDR Accreditation, see my EMDR page for more details.
In addition to my counselling and psychotherapy qualifications, I have an MA(cantab) from Cambridge University and am a qualified teacher.
