EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, it is the NHS recommended treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and is supported by a wealth of neuroscience research. I have completed the first two parts of EMDR training and am working towards accreditation. I currently use EMDR for simple trauma, such as for a specific traumatic incident like a car crash and for relaxation exercises. My part three training for working with complex cases such as PTSD from child abuse is scheduled for October. I'm a trainee member of the EMDR Association
